Barbara and Fred wanted a large central island with areas for dining and work to make the most of their large space. The island comprises a cream, flecked Corian worktop for the sink and food preparation, and walnut wood for the half-moon breakfast bar area. Hidden beneath are a dishwasher and numerous bins to help them recycle their waste. Two full-length larders and extra deep drawers keep the kitchen clutter-free. Gaggenhau appliances are integrated, including a pyroclean oven with sliding door and Coanda hood. An induction hob, microwave, waste disposal, dishwasher and American-style fridge complete the kitchen.
