The creation of this striking kitchen started with the owner’s plans for a new double aspect extension that enjoyed panoramic views of Lough Neagh. To maximise the view and natural light, a large, centrally positioned, horseshoe island unit is the kitchen’s highly practical ‘work station’. Its high gloss Parapan curved doors allow the integration of the handle on the curved section and the sink and drainer are incorporated into the worktop, hidden when required by the Corian® sink covers. The rich pillar-box red Aga is surrounded by heat resistant, colour matched Pyrolav volcanic rock worktops. This colour scheme is echoed in the informal dining area, which features a Pyrolav circular table with a stainless steel column. Soft closing handless doors and drawers conceal appliances including a Sub Zero integrated fridge freezer, Neff dishwasher and Miele Microwave.
